Terletak di puncak tertinggi di Putrajaya, PICC adalah sebuah mercu kejayaan dan hadiah Malaysia kepada dunia.
 
 
 
 
As a side note, Malaysia launched the Malaysian Public Sector Open Source Software Master Plan in July 2004, to encourage and guide public sector to adopt, develop and pervasively use Open Source Software (OSS). In conjuction with the launching, the Open Source Compentency Centre (OSC) was established as a national reference centre to lead and support OSS implementation in the Public Sector under the responsibility of MAMPU - "Development Administration in Malaysia"

The Phase I (laying out foundation and early adoption) has completed. There are numbers of OSS being used in Public sector, ie government agency websites and eGovernment, web servers and operating sytem. Due to poor promotion of Drupal, I am sorry to report Joomla has been widely deployed in these projects. Phase II (2007-2010) have been outlined to drive the various strategies for Accelerated Adoption, and we hope Drupal will be a strong contender! Yes, we will ...

The Objectives of the conference are :

* To proliferate OSS development and implementation in the public sector
* To enhance synergy between Business, R & D and Public Sector Communities
* To stimulate and increase growth of the local ICT industry
* To provide a platform for sharing of knowledge and experience among the participants
